CONROSE
FUNDRAISER 50/50 DRAW
Included in our registration,
this year, will be 20 tickets, which are part of a fundraising event, a 50/50
draw. The cost of each ticket is
$1.00. The winner is guaranteed at
least $1000.00.
The more tickets sold, the larger the winning amount will be.
Once registration is
received your tickets will be sent to you.
If you register by mail, the tickets will be sent back to you by mail. If
registration is done in person you will be given the tickets at that time. You then have the choice to sell them, or
keep them for yourself. All tickets will have to be back to us by June 5th
as the draw will take place at the auction on June 12th.

5TH ANNUAL AUCTION
Our 5th
Annual Auction is being held on Friday, June 12th at the Grawood in
the Dalhousie Student Union Building at 8:00PM (adults only). Tickets are
$5.00 and the kitchen will be open.
Viewing will start at 7:00PM.

get together in January and finish in October to keep Conrose going. Without them, our league would not

WELCOME TO ANOTHER GREAT SEASON
It’s hard to believe that we are starting the 2009 baseball
season with all the snow on the ground.
Before you know it we will all be on the ball field again. We would like to bring a few things to your
attention. One is registration. We strongly recommend that you register as
soon as you can. No spots are kept open
for past players and there is only a limited amount of players on each
team. The second thing is
fundraising. You will notice that we
have added a 50/50 draw to this year’s registration. Please help us make this fundraiser a huge
success and remember that the more tickets we sell the more money the winner
will take home. We will also be having
some prizes for the players who sell the most tickets. There will be more
information on this to follow.
Also, if you have any uniforms at home, please return them to us
as soon as possible.
We hope all of you are as excited as we are about our 2009
season. Over the last few years, we have
watched Conrose grow and have seen great changes and we see no reason why this
year won’t be the same. Thank you for making Conrose the great association that
it is and we look forward to seeing everyone back this year.

UMPIRE CLINIC
Do you
want to make some extra money over the summer?
Are you 13 years or older? If you
answered yes to both questions, why not become an umpire?
There
are 4 upcoming clinics for level 1-2 umpire.
Conrose will reimburse the cost of the clinic providing a receipt and
after you have umped 3 Conrose games.

SPONSORSHIP
Conrose is looking for sponsorship from businesses in our community.
There are three different levels of sponsorship:
*An annual fee of $250 for a 6” X 6” logo on our home field banner which would be seen by everyone that comes to the Conrose field.
*An annual fee of $500 for a 12” X 12” logo on our home field banner which would be seen by everyone that comes to the Conrose field.
*Team Sponsorship. A $3000 fee, over a 3 year period ($1000/yr), for a 12” X 12” logo on the banner and with your business’s name on the back of the team’s uniforms (18 per team) which would be seen all over Metro.
Also, with all levels of sponsorship, the business logo will be on the web site. If you know of any business that would be interested in supporting our league, please contact Tim at president@conrosebaseball.com.
VOLUNTEERS, WE NEED YOU!!
There are many areas that we need your help. We have committees for Fund Raising, Hit Run and Throw, and our Closing Fun Day. You could also be a coach, assistant coach, or a parent rep. There are many ways to help. If you are interested in helping out please contact Linda or Tim, the contact information is on the Conrose web site.
